Posting Strategic Ledger transactions

After you define the Strategic Ledger transaction data that you will analyze and post in a ledger, you must post transactions to the ledger.

These are the functions of the Strategic Ledger Posting program:

  • Creates summarized balances

  • Updates the Strategic Ledger Amounts (SLAMOUNTS for UNIX and Windows or DBSLSAM for IBM i) file

Note: Before you post Strategic Ledger transactions, verify that the transactions are correct using Error Transaction Edit (SL40.1) and Transaction Analysis (SL90.1).
  1. Run Strategic Ledger Posting (SL190).
    Note: After you run SL190, you can use the Analytic Architect application to report Strategic Ledger information.

  2. In the Ledger field, select the Ledger where you will post the information.
