Transferring non-Lawson data

  1. Use a transfer utility program, such as ftp, to transfer information from a non-Lawson environment to the Lawson application. When you transfer the non-Lawson file, you can rename the file for use in the Lawson application.
    Note: Conversion data is stored in the Strategic Ledger User Analysis Value Interface (SLSEGVLREL, DBSLSVR) file.
  2. Use an Import command to load the non-Lawson file.

  3. Access User Analysis Value Interface Maintenance (SL60.1) to display and maintain converted information. Use the Next or Previous form actions to display your data on this form.
  4. In the Old User Analysis field, specify a name that identifies the conversion information. This is the name you identified in User Analysis Relationship (SL09.1).
  5. Verify if the transferred data is correct. Make corrections as needed.
