Assigning attributes to user analysis values

After defining attributes with the user analysis (ANLYS) object type, you can assign attribute values. You have three options for entering values in an attribute assigned to a user analysis value:

  • Assign values in one or more attributes for one user analysis value

  • Assign values in one attribute for many user analysis values

  • Use an attribute template to populate multiple attributes with related values.

    Note: This third option is not useful when only one attribute was assigned to a user analysis value.

This procedure describes the three ways to assign attribute values to an attribute with a user analysis value:

  1. Access User Analysis Values (SL00.1). Click Att to open Attributes (SL00.5).
  2. (Optional) In the Copy from Template field, select a template from the list. The system will populate attribute values from a template when you add the record. See Defining attribute templates.
  3. In the Attribute Value field, specify or select the specific attribute value that you want to associate with the user analysis value.
