Defining attribute templates

An attribute template is a user-defined group of one or more attributes and values for an object type. Templates provide a quick and consistent way to assign multiple attribute values to Strategic Ledger. This procedure will detail how to define an attribute template.

  1. Access Attribute Template (MX05.1).
  2. Click New Template to access Define Template (MX05.2).
  3. Use these guidelines to specify the field values:
    Object Type

    You must associate a template with an object type. For Strategic Ledger, select ANLYS.

    Template

    Specify a template name and description.

  4. On Template (MX05.1), define the attributes and values that you want in the template. Use these guidelines to specify the field values:
    Attribute

    Select the attribute(s) to include in the template.

    Value

    For each attribute, specify or select a value.
