Assigning user analysis groups to a chart of accounts

After you define user analysis groups, you must assign a user analysis group to a General Ledger chart of accounts. When you assign a user analysis group to a chart of accounts, you can add values to transactions from any of the user analyses in the group for all companies using that chart of accounts.

Follow these steps to assign a user analysis group to a chart of accounts:

Access Chart of Accounts (GL00.1).
Select New Chart to open Define Chart Name (GL00.2).
Select the user analysis group that you want to assign to the chart of accounts in the Analysis Group field.

Note: This makes user analyses available in transactions associated with any account in the chart of accounts.
