Defining an allocation group

Use this procedure to define an allocation group. This allows you to assign an allocation to a specific allocation group during allocation entry. Allocation groups allow you to process a group or set of allocations.

  1. Access Allocation Group (SL12.1).
  2. Define an allocation group. Use these guidelines to specify the field values:
    Allocation Group

    This is the user-defined allocation group name used in processing multiple allocations.

    User Analysis Group

    This is the user analysis group optional field. The allocation group will be valid for this user analysis group.

  3. To define multiple allocation groups at one time, select Multiple Entry to open Allocation Groups (SL12.2).
