Plan groups
Plan groups enable organizations to group and show benefits plans under headings (for example, Medical). Plan groups define the way the system presents the web enrollment process to employees. Plan groups also define the maximum number of benefits an employee can elect under each heading. For example, a company might offer five different medical plans, but employees are only allowed to enroll in one plan. You can set up a plan group called Medical and specify that employees can select only one plan.
Organizations do not need to set up separate groups based on eligibility considerations. Instead, when an employee enrolls for benefits, the system shows only the plans that the employee is eligible for.
