Setting up the Training Options tab

This procedure shows you how to set up the Training Options tab.

  1. Access Course (TR01.1) and assign course category codes HR codes.
    Note: Course category codes are not company specific. If your organization set up multiple HR companies, then the system lists all codes for all companies. To better organize category codes, you can devise and implement a coding scheme so that employees and managers can find these codes.
  2. Access Course Prerequisite (TR02.1) and define the course prerequisites.
    Note: You can set up competencies in Competencies (PA21.1).
  3. Access Course Certification and Competencies (TR03.1) and assign qualifications as rewards.
  4. Access Session (TR04.1) and assign the OP (Open) status to the courses.
  5. Specify a valid start date.
