HS23.1 configuration settings

You can update these configuration settings in the HS23.1 program:

  • User Interface Theme: controls the styling (look and feel) of the application user interface.

  • Enable Filter Select: controls whether the Filter Select should be enabled for large volume data selects. If the Filter Select is not enabled, then data selects might take a long time to load if there are many records, since all records are retrieved and displayed at once. Enabling this setting improves response times for large volume data selects, and enables the user to filter the available values.

  • ProcessFlow enabled: You must set this to true if you are using the EMSS ProcessFlow solutions for email notifications. Using this setting, EMSS can enable the email features that are only available when using the ProcessFlow solutions.

  • Check for payroll lockout: controls whether EMSS will check to see if a payroll lockout is in effect before accessing payroll-related tasks. If a payroll lockout is in effect, then employees cannot access payroll-related tasks, including:

    • Employee address changes through Employee Move Life Event or Home Address

    • Immediate address changes through Manager Personnel Actions

    • Tax Withholding changes

    • Direct Deposit changes
