Bookmark edits
You can rename or edit certain aspects of the bookmarks delivered by Lawson.
For example, Lawson provides a bookmark named Benefits Enrollment, which employees can use to launch the annual benefits enrollment process. Your organization usually refers to this annual process as open enrollment. You can rename the Benefits Enrollment as Open Enrollment to make its use more clear for end users. The functionality is not at all updated - only the name that displays to end users.
For example, you might be concerned that employees will access certain bookmarks such as Tax Withholding and Direct Deposit while the payroll cycle is open, and updates made in the web could impact calculations and balancing totals generated by the payroll cycle. You can compose a custom document that includes any graphics you want plus a message saying This feature is currently unavailable due to payroll processing. Then you upload the file to any path on the server. Before each payroll cycle begins, update the URL for each bookmark that could impact payroll. Instead of the program file delivered by Lawson, redirect the bookmarks to the new file you uploaded. When the payroll cycle is closed, redirect the bookmarks back to the original program files for use by employees between payroll cycles.
