Time Entry |
Managers can electronically specify or edit time cards on behalf of their employees. The manager can update the status of the time card to specify whether it was approved, rejected, or put on hold. Managers can define different time card views versus employees and time card data can be maintained for an entire pay period, a single day, or on an exception basis only. Managers can run reports to view time cards for their employees, to gather a detailed view of the data, or to identify time cards that were not submitted or specified. |
Time Off Request |
Managers can view and approve or reject time off requests submitted by their direct reports. If time is approved, then the request can be optionally set as default to a pending time record in EMSS. If EMSS Time Entry is not used, then approved requests are extracted for loading into an external time entry system. The manager can filter the list of requests for a direct report by submitted, pending, canceled, rejected, or leave of absence type requests. Leave of absence requests the employee made are routed to an HR administrator's inbasket. The manager can only view these requests. An email notification is sent to the employee when the manager takes action on their time off request. |
