Copying, transferring, or deleting row lines

You can copy specific row lines within a row or from different rows, delete row lines, transfer row lines from one row to another, select specific row lines that you want to copy, select where to insert the row lines, and select how the row lines are numbered.

  1. Access Rows (RW10.1).
  2. Click Accounts Type, Levels Type, or Both Type to access the appropriate subform for the type of row that you want to copy.
  3. On the appropriate subform, click Line Copy to access Line Copy (RW11.4).
  4. Copy, transfer, or delete row lines. Use these guidelines to specify the field values:
    Row

    Select the row where you are copying the lines, transferring lines to, or deleting lines from.

    Line

    Specify the specific range of row lines that you want to copy, transfer, or delete.

    Insert Beginning at Line

    You can specify the line number where you want new lines inserted. There must be sufficient space between the existing row lines to insert the new line numbers. For example, there are only nine possible insertion lines between row 10 and row 20. If you leave this field blank, then the lines are inserted at the end of the row file.

    Note: You cannot use a line that already has data in it. For example, to insert lines between 10 and 20, you must select a number in between, such as 11. You cannot use 10.
    Increment New Lines By

    This field determines how the new row lines are numbered. If you leave this field blank, then 1 (Increment by One) is set as default. Valid values are 1 to 100.

    Copy or Transfer from Row

    Select the name of the row that you are copying or transferring from.

  • After you insert new lines, you can run Row Listing (RW210) to resequence the row lines in an increment that you prefer.
