Option: using a chart instead of an account row
For a Style 1 report, you can use a chart instead of an account type row file. The chart acts as the row definition for the report. When you select the chart option for a report, do not enter row lines in a row for the report.
To use this option, click Chart to open Chart Options (RW00.5). Use the subform to define chart parameters when using the chart in place of a row. Use these guidelines to specify the field values:
Note: You must select a value in at least one of the fields
on Chart Options (RW00.5) if you want to use
this option.
Summary Account | You can include one or all summary accounts in the row. Select the summary account to include or leave this field blank to include all summary accounts. |
Chart Section | You can select the section of the chart of accounts to include in the report: Balance Sheet or Income Statement. If you leave this field blank, then All Accounts is set as default. |
Chart Depth | You can select the chart depth you want to include in the report. If you leave this field blank, then all depths are included. |
Account Detail | Select the amount of account detail to include in the row. You can select Account or Subaccount. If you leave this field blank, then the subaccount is used. |
Variable Level Depth | You can select the variable level depth included in the report. If you leave this field blank, then the company level is set as default. |
Indent | Select whether to have natural indenting of the accounts based on the depth, or to have no indenting at all. |
Note: You can use chart options in combination, such
as including only balance sheet accounts with a depth of one.
