Copying a row

If you are defining a new row that is similar to an existing one, then you can copy the existing row and then make changes. This provides a fast way to duplicate row information without redefining new row information. You cannot copy one row style to a different row style (that is, Style 1 to Style 2).

  1. Access Accounts Row (RW10.2), Levels Row (RW10.3), or Both Rows (RW10.4) to define a new row.
  2. Click New Row.
  3. On the subform that displays, click Copy to access Row Copy (RW10.8). Use this subform to copy an existing row. Use these guidelines to specify the field values:
    New Row

Specify the name of the new row that you want to create. You can also specify a description for the new row.

Note: If you do not specify a new description, then the description of the row that you are copying is used as the default.
    Folder

Select the folder in which you want to store the row file in.

    Copy Row

Select the existing row that you want to copy.

Follow-up tasks

  • Modify the new row as needed to make it unique.
