Copying a group
If you are defining a new group that is similar to an existing one, then you can copy an existing group and make changes. This provides a fast way to create a new group without the effort of duplicating information that were already defined. Use this procedure to copy a level group, an account group, or a subaccount group.
- Access Level Group (RW40.1), Account Group (RW40.3), or Subaccount Group (RW40.4) and inquire on the group you want to copy.
- On the form that appears, click New Group.
- Click Copy to open the Group Copy subform.
- In the New Level Group, New Account Group, or New Subacct Group field, specify a name that identifies the new group.
- Select the folder where you want to store the new group.
- In the Copy Group field, select the existing group that you are copying.
- Select OK.
