Printing pick lists for allocated items

This procedure outlines the process for printing pick lists for released documents.

Procedure flow: Printing pick lists for allocated items

To print pick lists:

  1. Access Pick List Print (WH130).
  2. Select the job name.
  3. Specify the job description.
  4. On the Main tab, specify this information:
    Allocate Details
    Select Y to automatically assign these details:
    • Bins
    • Lots
    • Serial numbers
    • Multiple units of measure
    Otherwise, select N for manual assignment.
    Bin Allocation Purpose
    Select which method to use when allocating bin-tracked items:
    • To allocate bin-tracked items with the largest quantity, select S.
    • To empty as many bins as possible, select C.
    Print Option
    Select which method to use to sort lines:
    • To sort the lines by document line number using pre-printed forms for each shipment, select 1.
    • To sort the lines by bin then by lot or serial number using pre-printed forms for each shipment, select 2.
    • To sort by bin then by lot or serial number and print one pick list for each shipment in requisition picking, select 3.
    • To sort lines according to this hierarchy, select 4:
      • Bin
      • Item
      • Unit of measure
      • Lot
      • Serial number
    Include Requesting Par Shelf Location
    To include shelf location on the pick list report for par items, select Y. Otherwise, select N.
    Note: If the value of the Print Option field is 3, then you can only set this field to Y.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. To update the pick list information, run Pick List Print (WH130).
  8. To print bulk pick lists for items that are tracked by bin, lot, and serial number, run Pick List Print (WH130) first and then run Bulk Pick List (WH131).
    Note: Warehouse personnel can use bulk pick lists to pick items for several orders once and make fewer trips through the warehouse.
