Changing employee history not associated with personnel actions

Change employee history records that are not associated with personnel actions. Add, change, or delete employee history or move history information to a history error file.

Do not use this procedure to change current information. Corrections made with Employee History Correction (HR54.1) does not update Employee (HR11.1) or Multiple Positions, Jobs (PA13.1). If you need to change current information, go to the employee master. For more information, see the Infor Human Resources User Guide.

To change employee history not associated with a personnel action

  1. Access Employee History Correction (HR54.1).
  2. In the Employee field, select the employee.
  3. If you want to correct history for a data item, select the item. If you select a data item to correct, leave the Effective fields blank.
  4. If you want to correct history for a range of dates, type in the appropriate range of dates.
  5. Select the Inquire form function.
  6. Select the line action needed on the appropriate line.
    To Select
    Enter a correction The Change line function. If you are changing an amount or pay rate field, select the Currency tab to change currencies. If the data item is Rate of Pay, select the Pay Rate History tab to change history on associated items.
    Delete employee history The Delete line function.
    Move the record to a history error file The Error line function.
    Note: When you change an employee history field which displays on Position, Job History (PA13.2), the Position, Job History record is automatically updated.
  7. Select the Change form function.
