Applicant statuses

Applicant statuses are user-defined values used to:

  • Classify applicants

  • Track applicants in the recruiting process

  • Purge groups of applicants

The applicant statuses you define depend on your recruitment and reporting processes.

Example

Albany Construction uses applicant statuses to identify the location of each applicant in the recruiting cycle. Albany Construction defined status codes are No Interest, Being Considered, Interviewed, Rejected, and Selected. Each applicant status is updated in order to easily track and run reports.
