Defining requisition status codes

Set up your requisition status codes before you create a requisition. In the setup, define how requisitions with a given status code are counted.

To define requisition status codes

  1. Access HR Code Setup (HR04.1) and click the HR Codes button.
  2. In the HR Codes (HR04.2) Type field, select the RQ code category to define Requisition Status (HR83.8).
  3. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Code

Type a code that represents information you want to track.

    Description

Type the description to further define the information.

    Count

Select how the requisition status code is reflected in assigned resource counts in Personnel Administration.

If you select Active, requisitions with that requisition status code are counted in assigned resource counts. You must also select Yes in the Active Requisitions field in Position Rules (PA06.1) for active requisitions to be included in counts.

If you select Excluded, requisitions with that requisition status code are not counted in assigned resource counts. The code that you select in the Requisition Closed Status field on Company (HR00.1) must have an excluded count value.

    Status

Select if the code is active or inactive. A status of inactive prevents use of the code on any program in the Infor Human Resources, Payroll, Personnel Administration, or Benefits applications.

  4. Select the Add form function if you created your initial list of status codes. Select the Change form function if you changed your list of status codes.
