Tracking employee contracts

Note: Contract information is used in Canadian EEA reporting.

Creating the EEA file

Track employee contract information if your organization requires this type of tracking. Personnel Administration lets you track the type of contract, begin date, end date, and a brief description of the contract.

Before you proceed, verify that your HR Codes for your contract types are defined.

To track employee contracts

  1. Access Contracts (PA27.1).
  2. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Type

    Select the type of contract. This is a required field.

    Effective Date

    Type the date the contract goes into effect. This is a required field.

    End Date

    If the contract is temporary, type an end date for the contract.

    Description

    Type a brief description of the contract. The description appears on reports created by Contract Listing (PA227).

  3. Select the Change form function.
