Defining prior work history

Note: If an applicant is hired through a personnel action, information from Applicant Job History (PA33.1) transfers.

Track an employee's job history.

To define prior work history

  1. Access Prior Work History (PA19.1).
  2. Complete the form using the following guidelines:
    Employer

    This field holds the automatically generated employer number. Type the name of the employee's previous employer in the second field.

    Dates

    Type the date range of the employee's previous employment.

    Related Job Code

    Select a job code to identify the job in the company that is closely related to the employee's current or former job.

  3. Select the Add form function.
  4. If you need to add additional prior work histories after adding the first, clear previously defined fields and return to step 2.
