Defining Match Elements

Define match elements that you will assign to a match class.

To define match elements

  1. Access Match Elements (MA00.2).
  2. Define a unique name for the match element.
  3. Select match element parameters. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Item Indicator

    Indicates if this element represents the "Lawson Item" in your matching structure. This value will be validated against the Lawson Item Master.

    Data Type

    Alpha or numeric

    Field Size

    Field description

    Element Type

    Display field. Displays U for user-defined elements. Displays L for Lawson application defined elements.

    Status

    Indicates if the match element is active or inactive.

  4. Select the Add form action.
