When is Line Item Detail Required?

Line item detail consists of the line item information, such as item number, cost and quantity, and is required in the situations given below. Item detail can be entered manually or generated from the purchase order.

• Match rules using match type of Detail Match

• Handling codes with the AP Detail field set to Yes

• Service Only field set to Yes for service invoices

• Drop ship invoices
