Defining a ratio formula

Use the following procedure to define values for service classes. Values can be either an amount or a calculation, which is then multiplied by the hours or earnings from the service class.

To define a ratio formula

  1. Access Ratio Formula (LP06.4).
  2. Select a company and complete the form. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Ratio Formula

    Type a code for the formula.

    Service Class

    Select the service class that contains the hours or earnings for the ratio.

    Amount

    Type either a flat amount or an amount that will be multiplied by the hours or earnings from a service class.

    If you type an amount, leave the calculation field blank.

    Calculation

    Select the calculation that pertains to the hours range. If you select a calculation, leave the Amount field blank.
