Terminating a plan structure

Use the following procedure to terminate a plan structure.

To terminate a plan structure

  1. Access Mass Absence Plan Termination (LP103).
  2. Complete the form using the following guidelines:
    Processing Option

    Select By Structure.

    The application will set the structure end date on the desired absence plan structures, and set the Accrual End Date on all employee master records affected.

    Absence Plan

    Select an absence plan for this job. This field is required.

    Structure Employee Group

    Select up to four structure employee groups to identify the structures to be terminated. An absence plan must be selected to select a value here. If no groups are entered, all structures for the selected plan that are active as of the Master Entry Date specified will be processed.

    Structure End Date

    Type the structure end date to be updated on selected absence plan structures.

    Set Override

    Leave this field blank.

    Report Sequence

    Select how reports for this job are to be sorted. The default value is Employee. If you select Process Level, activity reports will page break by employees' current process level on Employee (HR11.1).

    Employee Sequence

    Select the order in which employees are to be listed on reports for this job. If you leave this field blank, employees will be listed in the order defined by the Print Order field on Company (HR00.1).

    Update

    Select the function you want to perform. If you select Report Only, the application produces a report of records that will be updated so they can be reviewed. If you select Update, the application performs the updates as well as producing the update report. It is recommended that you select Report only first to review the report, before selecting Update.
