Accrual rules

Accrual rules define how accruals, allotments, or both are calculated within a plan structure.

Hours and earnings tables work independently, even if they are defined on the same rule. Hours tables control the accumulation of time into hours balances, and earnings tables control the accumulation of money into earnings balances. When you calculate absence plan transactions with Employee Absence Plan Calculation (LP140), the application will calculate the Accrual Start and Accrual From Dates as well as the Allotment Begin Date.

Accruals and allotments are awarded based on the accrual rule.
