Assigning asset attribute values to leased assets

You assign attribute values to specific assets in the Asset Management application. The values that you define determine which assets become members of the automatic lists that you use to group assets for reporting. You can also use the values to provide additional information on the assets in reports. Asset management can define values for a single asset and multiple attributes, or for a single attribute and multiple assets.

To add values for attributes, you must define the attributes first. If you want to use an attribute template, then you must also define it first. See the Asset Management User Guide.
