Adding a date code

You can define a date code and attach it to a lease to indicate when a specified event takes place, such as when a lease is up for renewal.

Date Code

Specify a date code to represent a specific event in Lease Management, such as INS for Insurance Due Date.

Description

Specify a description of the date code that you are defining.

Active

Select N to indicate that you can delete the date code because it is inactive. Even after a date code is inactive, you cannot delete if it is on an active lease. The other option is Y, which indicates that you cannot delete the date code because it is used by Lease Management.
