Online	Use the Release form action on Lease Addition and Adjustments (LM21.1).

Finance leases release only if the assets that are associated with it were released and if the total book basis for all the assets associated with the lease matches the lease obligation on the FAS13 form tab of Lease Addition and Adjustments (LM21.1).

Operating assets are non-depreciable or have a zero book basis.
