Defining ICN and UOM codes

For transactions that require Intrastat reporting, you must specify the weight of the goods transported in kilograms. Sometimes, Intrastat requires you to specify a supplementary unit of measure (UOM). This procedure explains how to define the ICN code and assign it a supplementary UOM if necessary.

Access ICN and Unit of Measure Codes (IN03.1).
Specify the ICN code.
Specify an ICN description.

Note: Unit of measure codes are predefined in the Intrastat Nomenclature Classification.
Select the supplemental unit of measure for this commodity.
Select the Add form action.
Access Item Master (IC11.1).
Click the Classes tab and assign the ICN code to the item.
Click the UOM tab to define the relationship between the stock UOM and Intrastat's supplementary UOM.
Select the Add form action.
