Procedures in this chapter
When you create Intrastat records, the procedure is essentially the same in whichever application you originate the transaction. The Intrastat application checks the country codes of the origin and destination countries to determine whether the transaction is subject to Intrastat reporting. If it is, then the application assigns and displays an Intrastat number for the transaction. You can use this number to access the transaction on a maintenance form and change the Intrastat data.
After the transaction has been released, Intrastat data associated with it cannot be modified in the originating application. It can always be modified in the Intrastat application.
