Adjusting count variances

You can use this procedure to adjust count variances in the Inventory Control application. When you adjust count variances, you either adjust the quantity in the Inventory Control application, or you provide a reason for the variance. The following procedure gives the information you need to adjust count variances.

To adjust count variances

Access Counts by Page (IC72.1).
Select the company.
Select the select ID.
Type the page number of the item you want to adjust.
Select the Inquire form action.
To adjust the item quantity, type the adjustment quantity.
To specify the reason the variance exists, select a reason code.
Select the Change form action.
