To copy labor cost transfer template
- Access Labor Cost Transfer Template Entry (GM10.2).
- Inquire on the template you want to copy.
- Click the Copy to Labor Cost Trsf button to access Copy to Labor Cost Transfer (GM12.5)

Type the information for the labor cost transfer template. Use the following guidelines to enter field values.
- HR Company

Value defaults from GM10.2. Select the HR Company for the employee you want in the new template. Leaving this field blank will default the HR company from the GM10.2 template being copied.
- Employee

Value defaults from GM10.2. Select an employee by their employee ID for the new template. Leaving this field blank will default the employee from the GM10.2 template being copied.
- Job Code or Position

Value defaults from GM10.2. Select either a job code or position for the new template. You cannot enter both. Leaving this field blank will default the Job Code from the GM10.2 template being copied.
- Pay Code

Value defaults from GM10.2. Select a pay code for the new template. Leaving this field blank will default the Pay Code from the GM10.2 template being copied.
- Start Date

Type or select the start date for the cost transfer template distributions.
- End Date

Type or select the end date for the cost transfer template distributions.
Note: Labor Cost Transfer Processing (GM170) uses the start date to select templates to process. Payroll distributions with transaction dates that fall on or after the start date and on or before the end date are eligible for cost transfer.
- Click Create action.
