Interfacing Accounting Units

After the company is setup, use this procedure to begin the accounting unit interface process.

To interface accounting units

  1. Access Gaming Account Unit Interface Maintenance Level 1 (GL63.1).
  2. Type or select a company number and select Inquire.

    The Load default Divisions/Departments button displays.

  3. Click the Load default Divisions/Departments button to load the pre-defined divisions and departments or you can manually add them.

    • If you use the predefined divisions and departments, you have the ability to delete, maintain, and add accounting units.

    • To delete all divisions and departments, click the delete button X at the top of the screen.

    • To delete, maintain, and add Departments for a company/division, click the Dept button to transfer to the GL63.2 screen.

    • To delete all departments for a division, click the X button at the top of GL63.2.

    • To view the organizational structure before it is interfaced into Lawson, click the Preview button on GL63.1 or GL63.2. The Preview button transfers to GL63.3 preview screen.
