Related programs for specifying sales data

This table lists four programs that you can use to specify sales data reported by franchisees, into the Franchise Management application:

To Use
Specify sales data online

Franchise Sales Entry option on the Lawson Customer Self-Service application.

Note: You must have the Lawson Customer Self-Service application installed to have access to the Franchise Sales Entry forms. For more information, see your Lawson representative.
  • Use this program to locate all valid contracts for the franchisee. The franchisee can then specify new sales data, or, if an unreleased record already exists, can maintain it. Contract records are added or updated as if they were specified on Sales Entry (FR20.1).

Process franchise management payment records and create accounts receivable payment records that can be interfaced into the Accounts Receivable application

Lockbox Interface (AR570).

  • Use this program to create accounts receivable and franchise management payment records that are generated by a single payment record from a franchisee. The type of franchise management records you create will be the same as those you specify manually on Sales Entry (FR20.1). These Franchise Management records are processed through the Franchise Management application, creating a receivable record that is interfaced to Accounts Receivable. To learn more interfacing payment records into the Accounts Receivable application, see the Accounts Receivable User Guide.

Interface net sales, specified on Sales Entry (FR20.1), into the Franchise Management application using a batch program Franchise Sales Interface (FR520)
Correct sales records that do not successfully interface into the Franchise Management application

Interface Sales (FR97.1)

Note: After you process corrections here, run Franchise Sales Interface (FR520) again to add the corrected interface sales records into the Franchise Management application.
