Applying a budget adjustment code

You can apply adjustment codes to categorize budget journal entries. The adjustment codes available on budget journal forms are based on the codes that you defined in Budget Adjustment Code (FB42.1). Use this procedure to assign an adjustment code to a budget journal entry.

Access the correct budget journal entry form for the budget journal entry that you will apply an adjustment code.

Apply an adjustment code to a new or existing budget journal entry	Define Budget Journal (FB40.2)
Apply an adjustment code to a new budget journal entry when copying an existing entry	Budget Journal Copy (FB40.4)
Apply an adjustment code to a new or existing budget journal entry	Budget Journal Control (FB45.1)

Select the adjustment code for the budget journal entry.
Select the Add or Change form action.
