Spread code

You can use a spread code to distribute an annual budget amount over all the periods defined for your company in a fiscal year, based on the values you define in each period. A spread code can represent seasonal fluctuations, the number of working days or weeks each month, or any other relevant value.

For example, you can specify the number of working days for each period in the Period Value field. The percentage of working days distributed to each period is calculated automatically by dividing the period value by the total value of the spread code. The percentage always totals 100. Any rounding difference is included in the last period.
