Lawson EDI is supported on these platforms:

On LAWSON / EDI Machine

• Lawson application product line

• Perl version 5.8 or later

  Perl version 5.8 is free and can be downloaded from these websites: www.activestate.com (Windows) or www.perl.com (UNIX)

EDI Notifier

For email notification of translation or communications problems, Lawson EDI requires that the EDI Notifier be running on the same platform or on another box on the same network as the Lawson applications box. If the Notifier is not running, EDI batch jobs will go into the Waiting job queue. If the Notifier is running, jobs will go to the Completion queue.
