Inputs and outputs

When data files are made available to the EDI translation server during processing, those files are input to your IBM® WebSphere® Transformation Extender (WTX) map. This data is referred to as inputs. Inputs to the EDI translation server can be input to your inbound or to your outbound IBM® WebSphere® Transformation Extender (WTX) map.

Output data is the EDI-formatted data that is created by running your IBM® WebSphere® Transformation Extender (WTX) map. Again, output data may be created by running an inbound or an outbound IBM® WebSphere® Transformation Extender (WTX) map.
