Configuring Lawson EDI

Configuring Lawson EDI involves establishing the location of the elements needed by Lawson EDI.

Configure Lawson EDI

  1. Access EDI Configuration Maintenance (ED00.1).
  2. Specify this information:
    Field Description
    EDI host This is the name or IP address of the machine where the EDI translation server will run. (This must be same machine that Lawson applications are running on.)
    EDI port Assign an available port number for the EDI translation server to listen on.
    Perldirectory This is the directory where the perl executable is located, for example /usr/bin or c:/perl/bin.
    Mercloc If you are using the IBM® WebSphere® Transformation Extender (WTX), information required to connect to the WTX RMI server.
