Type trees and maps

A type tree is IBM® WebSphere® Transformation Extender (WTX) graphical representation of a data structure. After you build type trees that represent each side of an interface you want to create, you can map data from type trees in one system to their counterparts in the other system. The explicit statement of equivalencies between two data structures is called a map.
