Specifying outputs to your inbound IBM® WebSphere® Transformation Extender (WTX) map

This procedure tells you how to set up maps for valid application data from incoming EDI data.

Specify outputs to your inbound IBM® WebSphere® Transformation Extender (WTX) map

  1. In your map, create Output Card 1 for an application data file. This is the file where your map will put valid application data that it has mapped from the incoming EDI data.

    Sample Type Trees

    • poack803.mtt

      Sample Maps

    • Lo855803.mms (Inbound EDIFACT ORDRSP message)

  2. Create Output Card 2 for rejected data. This is a file where you will map any data that IBM® WebSphere® Transformation Extender (WTX) rejects. Lawson EDI Professional for Supply Chain will then be able to report the location of this file in its audit log.

    Sample Type Tree

    • Reject.mtt

    • Lo855803.mms (Inbound ASC X12 855 document)
