Master recurring invoice

Note: Both the bill date and the invoice date print on the recurring invoice.

A master recurring invoice is a template for a specific set of services, such as leasing payments. You need to create the master recurring invoices first and then decide how often a customer is to be billed for the service and how to control the number of recurring invoices.

You have two options to control the number of invoices created for this service:

  • Select a start and stop date range. To use this option, select the frequency, start date, and stop date.

  • Select start and stop date and a total number of recurring invoices (up to 999). To use this option, select the frequency, start date, and number of invoices.

After you set up the master recurring invoice and decide which option to use to control the number of invoices, you can assign items and add-on charges to the master recurring invoice.
