Releasing the shipment online

This procedure outlines the process for releasing the shipment using the online method. Details on using batch shipment release are found elsewhere in this user guide. See Batch releasing the shipment.

  1. Access the form used during shipping feedback.
    To release shipments Access
    By document number Shipping Feedback by Document (WH32.1)
    For one shipment (requisition) at a time Shipping Feedback by Shipment (WH32.2)
    For an entire batch Shipping by Batch (WH32.3)
    For bin-tracked items (in bin sequence order) Bin Sequence Shipping Feedback (WH32.4)
  2. Inquire on the shipment.
    Note: You cannot undo the Release action. Ensure that you have correct and complete information for the shipment before you release it.
  3. Select the Release special action.
