Options for Defining Price List

To narrow the pricing parameters, you can assign a price list to a specific sales class of items or to a specific item.

To define price lists for sales classes

  1. Use Price List (BL45.1).

  2. Type the price base that the price list modifies.

  3. Type the default percentage.

  4. Use Price List Sales Class (BL45.2) to assign the price list to a sales class of items.

  5. In the Prohibit Sales field, select Yes to prohibit customers assigned to this price list from ordering items within this sales class.

  6. In the No Charge field, select Yes to indicate that items in this sales class are sent to the customer free of charge, when they are ordered and priced using this price list.

  7. In the Quantity Breaks field, type 9999999 to override the percentage of a sales class without entering quantity breaks.

To define price lists for items

  1. Access Price List (BL45.1).

  2. Type the price base that the price list modifies.

  3. Type the default percentage.

  4. Use Price List Item (BL45.3) to define the price list for a specific item.

  5. Select the Options tab to determine how the price base is modified.

  6. To add prices for an item with more than one pricing unit of measure, select the Multiple Units of Measure tab.

  7. In the Prohibit Sales field, select Yes to prohibit customers from ordering items that are priced using the price list item.
