Performing picking, packing, or shipping feedback online

Note: If you print your pick list in bin sequence, then select the Bin Sequence forms (the .4 sequence).

This procedure outlines how to perform feedback with the online method:

  1. Access the online feedback form.

    • Shipping Feedback by Document (WH32.1)

for one shipment (requisition or order) at a time

    • Packing Feedback by Shipment (WH31.2)

    • Shipping Feedback by Shipment (WH32.2)

    for an entire batch

  2. Define header information.
Note: You can attach a bill of lading number, which is defined in Bill of Lading (WH40.1). A bill of lading lists the cubic feet and weight for the entire shipment.
  3. If you want to define additional shipment information, then click Shipment Information.
    1. Specify additional shipping information.
    2. Select the Change form action.
  4. Specify the feedback numbers; the actual quantity either picked, packed, or shipped. Consider these line actions:
Delete Select the Delete line action to delete the line feedback record. The order line quantity remains allocated and is eligible to print on a subsequent pick list.
Backorder/Fill Select the Backorder/Fill line action to backorder the difference between the open and in-process quantities and fill it later.
Overship Select the Over Ship line action to record more feedback than was originally entered on the shipment line, up to the document line total quantity.
Void/Kill Select the Void/Kill line action to void the line quantity or kill it. If you void the line, then the quantity is reduced and will not print on a subsequent pick list.
Note: If you do not specify necessary detail tracking information, then you will receive an error message for these items.

    See About using Walk Thru.

  5. If you are giving feedback on items that are tracked by catch weight, bins, lots, serial numbers, multiple unit of measures, or kits, then click the appropriate button to define additional item detail information.
  6. Select the Finish form action.
