Pricing worksheet (BL/DST)

A pricing worksheet is a tool that you can use to modify price bases.

When you use the pricing worksheet, you select an existing item price source such as last issue cost, last received cost, or the current base price of another base name to calculate the future price base.

You can use the application to calculate the future price base by multiplying the source base price with the factor that you specify, whether it is based on vendor, sales class, or item number. When you update the worksheet, you apply the future prices to the items.

For example, if the price of a major sales class of items, such as frozen foods, increases by 20 percent, then you can create a worksheet to increase all frozen food prices by that percentage.
