Entering a ship immediate order

A ship immediate order provides a quick method to process an order after the order is entered. Ship immediate orders are recommended for walk in sales. This procedure explains how to enter a ship immediate customer order.

Before you can process a ship immediate order, you must create an order type with the ship immediate flag as Y. See Defining order types.

  1. See Electronic payment overview.

    Add a customer order with a Ship Immediate order type.

  2. Release the customer order. After you release the order, Ship Immediates (OE114) displays.
    Note: If you are processing an Electronic Payment ship immediate transaction, then the authorization and settlement processes occur when you run Ship Immediates (OE114).
