Creating a standard order

Standard orders lets you create a template for common orders. Use this standard order to create customer orders by copying individual items or the entire order. This procedure explains how to create a standard order.

  1. Access Standard Order (OE54.1).
  2. Define header information. Use these guidelines to specify the field values:
    Customer

    Select a customer for the standard order, or leave the customer field blank to allow all customers to use the standard order.

  3. If you want to print comments, then select the comments to print at the top and bottom of the order.
  4. If the standard order is only active for a temporary period, then select a beginning and ending date for the standard order.
  5. Select the items to include on the standard order.
    Note: If you leave the Quantity field blank, then you can specify item quantity when you copy the order.
  6. If the items are commonly ordered in a specific quantity, then specify a quantity in the Quantity field.
    Note: Drill AroundTM on the item to determine the valid unit of measures.
  7. If your company requires item unit of measure on transactions, then specify the selling item unit of measure in the UOM field.
  8. Select the add form action.
