About using Walk Thru

If you track items by lot, serial number, bin, or sell an item in multiple units of measure, the application can automatically walk you through detail forms when you add the document. Walk Thru ensures that you complete the necessary information about the items involved in a transaction. However, if the detail forms are not complete when you add the document, then you will receive an error message when you attempt to release the transaction.

For example, if you allocate an item that is tracked by serial number and do not specify the serial number, then you will receive an error message when you attempt to release the shipment.
